On January 29 I have attended a wedding for the first time in forever. Although in fact, I already have before but it wasn't as proper as this one because all I want back then was to eat. But now I actually paid attention throughout the wedding ceremony and literally listened to the speeches that was made by some specific speakers. I applaud very proudly, honestly.
I have to be honest with you, the first time my mom told me about the wedding I was like "Uh no, I'd rather watch tons of tv series", but then she's my mother.. I'll do whatever she commands. So she forced me to attend and according to her, it's not as if I'm going to do this all the time, it was a rare event so I have to attend and blah blah. She actually spent much money for my dress and hers and other stuff which is very impressing because she's did it for us not to feel out placed and for her best friend (which is the mother of the loving groom). But you know what? I had fun, it was a nice experience. So above all, I do believe that
"Mother knows best".
The groom and bride is such a beautiful couple. The groom was so cute because he's chubby (in a good way), in fact if you see him, judging him won't ever cross your mind. Besides he is a nice guy, professional, well educated in Islam, already worked abroad, and especially has huge respect for her mother. The bride was so lucky. Unfortunately though, I don't quite know much about the bride, but I know that she is a nice woman and cheerful as well. Because one time, when she saw me, she gave me a big smile (with her beautifully done braces on her teeth) and gave me a kiss on my cheek. Let me tell you that that big smile was so real. She was so pretty when she smiled at me, and for the first time I saw it, it actually shocked me like a flash that I even had to back off my head.
Congratulations to the newly wedded couple
Al Shaif & Phina
May Allah bless their wonderful wedding
And live happily ever after
