Watched Movies in Cinema & Met a Friend

Today, Papa decided to go watch a movie in cinema. And we're like "OMG YES". Since SM Lanang is our mall next door, we've decided to go there instead of going to other cinemas that are way to far from the house. We got there and did a little shopping first then finally went to the cinema. The available movie which was around 4PM was Kid Kulafu and The Duff. I've heard so many great reviews about Kid Kulafu. So we agreed that we'd watch it since it's about Manny Pacquiao, and it'll be very interesting.

Kid Kulafu was about the childhood of Manny Pacquiao. Where he got his inspiration, why did he entered into the world of boxing, and how did he got his strength that makes him unbeatable. It was so good, I actually didn't expect that it was that good. I swear it is a must watch. That movie forced me to respect him more. He's an inspiration. He works really hard and look where he is right now. He has nothing back then, and look boom, big time! I'm not going to spoil you, as long as you will watch it. It's really good. But one thing I learned about that movie was "Whatever happens, don't give up". Khalil Ramos, a well known young celebrity was there too. He really did a good job and he touches every watcher's heart. Congrats Eugene! Congrats to the crew of this movie! Congrats Direk Paul Soriano!

Next movie was You're My Boss. We were waiting for Papa to pay for the tickets and suddenly, an old friend approach us, it was Ate Zayemah. We were so happy to see her. She haven't changed, still silly and pretty as always. Although she's prettier now. Nice to see you Ate Zaye! I hope I'll see you again together with Zahedah.

But before we went inside the theatre, we did a short roam while waiting for 6:20PM. Fhar and I went to the Book Sale which was near by the cinema. Something funny happened that I want to share it here. There were group of girls that were so girly and laugh like Kris Aquino. And I was like wtf, but after all I didn't really minded them. But my sister did, a girl said "Oh my God, they have Crescendo here" "Omg I miss One Direction", then my sister went like "Oh my God, look at this book". I even had to cover her mouth to stop because those girls were just beside us. And a girl laughed like Kris Aquino, then my sister imitate her laugh. I was full of embarrassment that I went out of the store because apparently my sister is embarrassing but really funny. It was so funny.

You're My Boss is a comedy-romance movie. Coco Martin and Toni Gonzaga nailed their character. Especially Coco, he was so funny and charming. 80% time of the movie, I was laughing. This is a must watch as well. This movie is good for barkadas and family bonding. So grab a ticket now and watch it! And now I'm promoting.

After all, it was such a nice day. We really enjoyed the movies. And this kind of bonding makes me feel more blessed and grateful because basically I'm with my parents. They complete me.

Huddled in Krispy Kreme & Grocery Shopping

"Relationship Goal"
LOL
My Royal Couple is holding hands while walking. #kilig
After our hours of rest, we've decided to go to SM Lanang, just to take a walk and not hiding out in our bat cave. Mader, Fhar and I went for a window shopping to different stores and OMG 90% of the stores are on SALE. You already know whose money's gonna fly in just a snap. We were waiting for Pader/Papa to finish his business purposes in a bank, and we met again in Krispy Kreme. Mader ordered water, Fhar ordered Iced Coffee Mocha, and Papa and I went for a plain Americano. We ordered a dozen of Original Glazed Doughnuts, yum! We had long talks and shared stories and laugh at jokes. It was such a nice feeling to have that kind of conversation in about 2 hours.

Mader invited as to go shopping at the grocery store because there are still things that has to be bought for the house that we're staying in. We stayed a long time in the vegetables section because basically we are trying to be healthy, lol why the hell not right. After the long walks we've done throughout the grocery stores, we've decided to go to the cashier, oh not "we" because my father did. Obviously he's going to pay for all the things that we purchased. We waited outside and went home.

Little things are much appreciated when you're with your family. I hope though someday, we will all have this kind of quality time together as a whole family. Someday InshaAllah.

Maayong Umaga, Davao!

We arrived in Zamboanga Airport at 4:+ AM, and we checked in rightaway with the help of our Uncle, so we can still have lots of time to mingle with my sisters (Amina and Khayra). They wasn't able to come with us because unfortunately my sister Amina has to attend her duty as a pharmacy student in a legit pharmacy which is the Cecile's Pharmacy. While my sister Khayra is taking a class for her course in summer.
5:00AM, we entered to the departure area to wait for our flight. Took lots of photos together, and my sister bought food which include a soda that makes me wanted to vomit during that time. But fortunately, I didn't, I stopped it. Because I have to, I'm not going to make a scandal in an airport, that would be very embarrassing. 5:50,
Fharhana and I arrived this morning here in Davao around 7AM, it was a short time flight though. And MashaAllah, this place is fascinating. I hope I can go to lots of places here and learn a lot of things. All I know is, Davao have lots of Duryan, like the Duryan sculpture shown above from the Airport.

Who's up for adventure?

Flight Carry On

Yes guys! It's true, I'm going on a trip to Davao. Of course, you need to have a carry on or luggage. This is a new theme of blog, me showing you what's in my carry on/hand bag and my luggage. I know you already have an idea what's in my luggage, pure clothes and shoes and other stuff I will need for my enough days of stay in, although I still have no specific date on when I will come back here in Zamboanga. So this is my luggage which I bought back when I was still in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This has been my baby since last year, and it's still staying strong thankfully.
This bag was my Mom's and she wasn't using it, so I borrowed it and I think I'm owning it. The basic thing I like the most about this bag is its color, cream! It's so simple and easy to carry because it has two straps, for shoulder and arm handling. If I want to be quite fashionable, I would wear it on my arm. And when I'm on a casual day, of course I would wear it on my shoulder which is very comfyy and easyy.

I have this mini make up bag (from IKEA) which includes some of things that would freshen me up when Philippines' pollution shoved my face up and turned it into a miserable piece of trash. So, I have Jergen's lotion, Nivea creme, Pond's BB cream, Natasha's clear mascara, Essence's Waterproof mascara, A's cream blusher, Max Factor's lipstick, A's liquid lipstick, and Natasha's lip balm. Alright I know you would say "Oh my gosh, Fahda has gone girly. Wtf hahaha" but whatever though, it's just someday you as well will need these. Or maybe you won't if you're a guy.

Out of my mini make up bag, I also have things that I will call a "girly thing". 1st Pharma Alcohol is a must, or any kind, but if you're a girl you MUST have an alcohol, you might touch things that contain pure germs and this is the time that alcohol came up very handy. Alcohol will save you in different kind of things though. So girl, grab an alcohol now in a Pharmacy or Grocery Store. Ellips cologne, I like this scent because it's just fresh. Careline powder, this is my sister's actually, which I took because she wasn't really using it often. Kate Rimmel Lipstick, well, red lipstick is handy when you're having a pale day. Johnson's baby powder, THIS IS A MUST YOUNG LADIES!, you don't wanna have a sweaty back or neck. And you can't expect that you can apply face powder cosmetic on your sweaty back, that's a no no. And a Ever Bilena brush for my face powder.

My wallet contains private things like cards and money (duh) and shitty receipts and instax photos. I always separate my paper money and coins, because I can't just put my coins on my wallet because it's two messy and heavy, so I bought a separated coin purse. A pen for writing some forms or maybe someone would need it and you can be considered as the nicest person on earth for lending it to him/her. And of course passports and tickets, those are mine and my sister Fharhana because I will be travelling with her, and take note, this is our freaking first time travelling together. I might just say that she will continually be my travel buddy. How's that sound Fhar! Exciting right! She's so excited and I'm just here chilling. Lol haha!

Freshman in College

Freshman student. As yesterday was the last day of me being a college freshman student, oh wait I just realized a second ago, that I won't be a freshman student anymore. So yesterday was definitely the last day of me being called as a "Freshman student". Wow that overwhelmed me, otherwise though, maybe in the future I'll get another degree. Just maybe. I'll give that a 5% chance of winning. But let me go back to the main topic, my college freshman life.

High school would be the best highlights of my life, I proclaim that. There were lots of amazing memories during high school but none of those that I regret, even the embarrassing and disappointing ones. It's part of growing up, being stupid. Why didn't I regret any of it? Because basically I learned from it. Stepping from high school to college is scary.

The real world is scary, Philippines is scary, and people are scary. So is college. We can't stick on our false fantasies forever, there will always be a time where in we have to deal with the curve balls of reality. Reality is a puzzle of responsibilities, problems, stress, complications, commitments, and others. But no matter what, the right time will come where in you have to step forward and learn how to deal with these things. And that is college. I learned new things and met new people. I have to be honest with you, it was hard for me to let go off the place where I call home for several years and now I have to deal with university. I used to not talk to any of my block mates, I was the one that runs home right away whenever I have vacant or I am dismissed, and I used to sit on the corner just to observe people. I'm a wall flower, no just kidding, I was a complete introvert. But don't worry, I have friends now. I also learned how to stand on my own feet and have freedom, and had loooooooooooooooots of unexpected responsibilities that taught me to be a better me. I learned how to interact although I know I'm pretty awkward. I learned how to schedule my time, although there would be a day where in "Imma prone to procrastination coz y'all have to know that I ain't gonna give shit bout fuckin' school". We all have those days.

But most of all, I know college will help me to grow into an unimaginable version of me, a person who is ready to take on the world and give a big punch to the hole of reality. I'm willing to learn more, and this is the step by step stage of being a much better person. Why not take it right? The chance of being a much better version of me. Hell yeah! Why not!

Dear you, who is about to step onto college,
Don't be scared, because even though high school is over. New life, a new better chapter is waiting for you. You have to reach it with all your heart. Don't worry as well, even if you didn't gave much effort during high school which makes you anxious about the overload works that you have to do in college (as experienced by truly yours), you will be better this time. Trust me, you will because your soon to be profs will push you to your limits and you as well will push yourself beyond your limits, that's the time that you will do better. You will be motivated, not always, but often because you will be repeating the words "I need to pass this exam/quiz/or whatever" or even better words "I must get high grades" to yourself. And after all, your greatest fear is retaking a subject. Basically it would waste your time and money. The money that your parents earned after all their sacrifices and efforts. Think about that. I know you will be better, I do believe because I just know. So, good luck!

Truly yours,
