Extra Davao Experience & People's Park

These was normally my breakfast everyday, healthy breakfast, which I miss the most. Especially Hobnobs because I really do love it since I was still in Saudi Arabia, I love digestive biscuits so much. Well, Hobnobs specifically was introduce by my friends in AJISD, there's this classmate that brought one bag of it then everyone went insane and pleased that person to give them. And I was like hmmm, I should try it, then when I did, it blew my mind. We (my family) don't usually buy Hobnobs, we just buy the classic digestive biscuit that I actually love but I love Hobnobs more.
This was my first time to drink this beverage so I had to picture it. And yes, I loved it! It has real strawberry cuts in there and that catches me, I wish I could actually find this beverage here in Zamboanga. Oh pls Zamboanga, umasenso ka na pls. Haha!
 Ariana Grande peg, yayks!
I took this picture at the terrace in the 3rd floor of our house while I was making sampay of my clothes. Lol, labandera problems. I was actually scared because it was quite high and I thought that I would fall down anytime soon.
Well this is something that shock me, because Zamboanga's and Davao's sikad (or bike or tricycle or whatever they call it but here in Zamboanga we call it sikad) is actually different. Davao's better though, and I like their umbrella because it's bigger than Zamboanga's sikad. And y'know what, my father told me that they pull it down when the sun goes down. That's so fascinating, well I do find it fascinating. During this time, we went home from SM Lanang. It was just walking distance, well sikad distance? Hahaha, you get the point, SM Lanang is just our mall next door.
Okay, I said back on my previous blog post (Davao's Crocodile Park II: Cute Lazy Tiger & Conquered Fear) that I will blog about People's Park. And yes, I know, I haven't done it til now. I don't know why either, maybe because I was just lazy. Haha! But here it is.

People's Park is a very colorful park, it boosted your energy right after you enter the park. Trust me, it happened to me. We roam the park around, and took lots of photos then Fhar and I left our parents together to enjoy their time together in such a nice place. #MayForever, from their actions and the way they speak together, it shows how they love each other even though they're already old, the spark is still there. Which I will forever be grateful with because it is something that not all people or daughters/sons have from their parents. I'm so blessed. Then, we ate icecream which was Durian flavor because it was actually the only flavor so we were given no choice. Durian because it's the symbol of Davao, I guess, because they're rich in Durian.

Davao's Crocodile Park II: Cute Lazy Tiger & Conquered Fear

Ugh so cute!
This is too funny but he's so cuuuuuuuuute! I love this guy so much, can't even.
Good job, Fhar!
But those two photo bombers are too distracting.
The Kardashian booty girl, and the street girl scrolling through her phone. Haha gosh.
Another sweet capture of my beautiful parents.
Fhar and I went to the Tiger View which has an entrance fee that my Papa (as always) payed. It was at a huge cage but the viewing of the entertaining tigers was at the top of it. And yes, beneath our feet are the cages of roaring tigers which was very terrifying but Fhar was more terrified than me. Ha! Loser no just kidding I love you, yucks haha. There are probably 6-7 tigers but only one decided to entertain us, it was disappointing somehow. But, the cute huge tiger made a cute play at the grass with him/herself, actually though s/he was inviting his/her friends or family but they are too lazy to even go out of their cages, pft! Lazy asses.

After that, there were picture takings for free with a small crocodile and harmless snake. At first, I was like "NO WAY!" but a part of me has seen a vision which was a tweet by a friend (probably Mark Calma's) saying YOLO. I had to repeat that abbreviation over and over again for it to sink in. And out of the blue, I said "Sige na Pa, Let's go! Fhar!!". So Fhar came with me and Papa took the photos. But Fhar only went to the small crocodile and I went for both. They were both heavy though but the snake moves too much that it terrified me but it was fine.

We've decided to grab a drink before leaving the park. Papa ordered Sugar cane juice, Fhar got the Raspberry juice, and I went for a Malunggai Kalamansi Juice which was a brave thing I did, it wasn't yucky much just little bit. And after that, we went to People's Park which will be journalize on my next blog.
PS: Same lovely taxi driver drove us to People's Park, he waited for us and it was actually part of the deal. So he can earn more money, he deserves it.

Davao's Crocodile Park I: Exploring Wild Arena, "Celebriatic" Orangutan, & Impressive Bat Wings

Yap, we got it from her *wink*
"Pls, I'm not yet ready with my bongga pose"
"This is my posing, and it's fabulous, I know"
Extraordinary couple that has their own world. The sweetest.
"Okay human, I'm gonna smile for you even though you're annoying me"
We went to Crocodile Park around 3PM which we thought was very late, but it wasn't actually. I would just like to add that our taxi driver was so lovely, he was entertaining us although sometimes I don't understand what was he talking about since he's using the Bisaya language. I understand quite a bit because some of my friends in Zamboanga are pure Bisaya people.

When we got there, the place was quiet and dull and has less people than my expectations. The first animal that we encountered was an eagle, or rather a baby eagle since he's not really big as he was supposed to be based on my expectations again. And then, lots of crocodiles, unknown animals with weird names that I haven't known my entire life, a parrot which Mama called ugly, snakes that stinks but impressively big, a pond of turtles, a big turtle, a huge lizard which I don't quitely remember the name but I read "Dragon Den" before I went to the garden of it and the huge turtle's so maybe that's it, lots of birds, a large field with lots of ostriches (that's hard to pronounce though), and an incredibly impressive bat.

To be continued..
