Since Fhar and I are leaving Davao in three days, we obviously need to buy some pasalubongs for our loved ones in Zamboanga, especially my sisters. We bought many souvenirs and their wanted pasalubongs in Gaisano Mall since there are a lot of affordable stuff there. My mom did a quite crazy shopping as well, which makes me really happy because she doesn't go shopping as often as she deserves to. And I just bought a carry on bag for my if-ever excess luggage. We don't know what might happen y'know.
We ate dinner quite early in dum-dum-duuuum McDonalds, everyone's go on food chain restaurant. We ordered fish fillet burger, because we don't trust the chicken one as much as we trust the McDonalds in Zamboanga, and two bff fries (my forever guilty pleasure). Good thing about Zamboanga is their McDonalds serve non pork, which is really appreciable since there are lots of Muslims there. After we eat, Fhar and I decided to check upon National Bookstore to find something interesting. I went for Paano Ba 'To by Bianca Gonzales, it isn't a novel, it looks like a guide of growing up which is fascinating. I've always wanted to buy it since I was still in Zamboanga. I've heard lots of great reviews so why not try it right?
I know, I'm assuming you'll be like "Wow Fads, a guide book over a novel?". It's just when I got inside of National Bookstore, this book (Paano Ba 'To) shouts my name and saying that I have to buy it while the others were silent. In simple terms, I wasn't feeling like reading a novel at this moment since I know it'll waste my summer time. Summer is for fun, no time for slouching in a sofa reading. I have to enjoy my vacay. But for sure, I'll read novels when I have free time in the future. But right now, I just don't feel like reading a novel.
We did a lot of walking today that made my body feels sore. But mission accomplished for buying pasalubongs! YAS!
