Ate Cabbage Willingly & Incomplete Family Hang Out

This was the perfume that I wore yesterday which was one of my fave scent ever ever promise. I love it so much that I wish it was mine because it's my mom's so I'll have to make an effort for it to be given to me. And this was a gift from my papa to mama. But the thing is, he gave a lot of perfumes to her, she isn't gonna lose anything if she gave that one perfume to me. Pleaase! 

We went to Yubenco Tetuan for foodtrip with Papa as it was the last day that we could actually hang out for quite enough time. We ordered shawarma from Early Birds, and mine was tuna because I don't eat beef and these were the only available fillings. We also grab snacks over on One Tomato, Yes! I did ate cabbage willingly which I thought was so brave and an achievement, and Euro Mexicana. We did lots of catching up kwentos and laughter. During that time, all I felt was happiness and gratefulness of my life because my family is with me and there's nothing I could ask for. I love them to bits.

As of this moment, Papa is going to the airport to fly back to Davao for work and managerial purposes. We are going to miss you, Papa! WE LOVE YOU AND SEE YOU VERY SOON! 

Eid'l Fitr 2015

Eid Mubarak, sisters and brothers! I wish you had a blast during the celebration of  Eid'l Fitr.

This is my second year of celebrating Eid here in the Philippines, and haven't miss the prayer of Eid'l Fitr which is fortunate because I was the only girl in the house that was able to this year. So, Alhamdulillah. I went to the mosque with my father (Yes po, he's here in Zamboanga! Woop! Woop! Haha). And I didn't took lots of photos in the mosque because I feel like it's inappropriate because someone might misunderstood my intention. So I decided not to take lots of photos because apparently people's judgments doesn't just affect my image but as well as my parents. 

After the prayer, I went to our house right away, and waited for the kids to come in our house for Jarah (which basically means that is base on my understanding, kids show respect to the elders/neighbors and as for giving back the respect, we give the kids anything that we can afford.) and gave them candies because kids love candies. And I do too, so I snitch some lol. I waited outside the house with Fhar, and my two nephews (Manman and Tikar).

I was so tired and sleepy during that morning as I was awake since 3AM. So I took a nap, and when I woke up there are lots of visitors and this is something that I don't really fancy. I've been struggling this problem since late elementary days, because I thought that if there are lots of visitors, there are a lots of stress and noise and dirt and faking and I don't even know. But I wish my point of view will change someday. And I started being anxious on whether I'll entertain the visitors or not, but in the end, I've decided not to go out of the room because I know I won't be entertaining them very well since I'm not really that entertaining and funny or even friendly.

And when there are less visitors, I decided to go out of the room and went to buy something outside and somehow did little chitchats with the remaining visitors which was quite scary for me but it was worth it. Alhamdulillah.

Extra Davao Experience & People's Park

These was normally my breakfast everyday, healthy breakfast, which I miss the most. Especially Hobnobs because I really do love it since I was still in Saudi Arabia, I love digestive biscuits so much. Well, Hobnobs specifically was introduce by my friends in AJISD, there's this classmate that brought one bag of it then everyone went insane and pleased that person to give them. And I was like hmmm, I should try it, then when I did, it blew my mind. We (my family) don't usually buy Hobnobs, we just buy the classic digestive biscuit that I actually love but I love Hobnobs more.

 This was my first time to drink this beverage so I had to picture it. And yes, I loved it! It has real strawberry cuts in there and that catches me, I wish I could actually find this beverage here in Zamboanga. Oh pls Zamboanga, umasenso ka na pls. Haha!

 I took this picture at the terrace in the 3rd floor of our house while I was making sampay of my clothes. Lol, labandera problems. I was actually scared because it was quite high and I thought that I would fall down anytime soon.

 Well this is something that shock me, because Zamboanga's and Davao's sikad (or bike or tricycle or whatever they call it but here in Zamboanga we call it sikad) is actually different. Davao's better though, and I like their umbrella because it's bigger than Zamboanga's sikad. And y'know what, my father told me that they pull it down when the sun goes down. That's so fascinating, well I do find it fascinating. During this time, we went home from SM Lanang. It was just walking distance, well sikad distance? Hahaha, you get the point, SM Lanang is just our mall next door.

Okay, I said back on my previous blog post (Davao's Crocodile Park II: Cute Lazy Tiger & Conquered Fear) that I will blog about People's Park. And yes, I know, I haven't done it til now. I don't know why either, maybe because I was just lazy. Haha! But here it is.

People's Park is a very colorful park, it boosted your energy right after you enter the park. Trust me, it happened to me. We roam the park around, and took lots of photos then Fhar and I left our parents together to enjoy their time together in such a nice place. #MayForever, from their actions and the way they speak together, it shows how they love each other even though they're already old, the spark is still there. Which I will forever be grateful with because it is something that not all people or daughters/sons have from their parents. I'm so blessed. Then, we ate icecream which was Durian flavor because it was actually the only flavor so we were given no choice. Durian because it's the symbol of Davao, I guess, because they're rich in Durian.

Paano Ba 'To?

As I grow up every day, there are things that are still confusing and sometimes I just want a guide that I'm willing to adapt. I found out that Bianca Gonzales, the famous Pinoy Big Brother host, release a book about how to survive growing up. I really wanted to buy this especially that this is the first book I'm reading with this kind of genre, and I've heard so many positive reviews about it. So when I had a chance to buy it back when I was still in Davao, I took the opportunity to buy it. 

This book consists of different kinds of content that gives you advises towards your lifestyle or the people around you. The topics are Family, Friendship, Love, Career & Money, Failures, Fashion & Beauty, Purpose, and Self. There are also famous people in showbiz industry that wrote bits of advises that are very helpful, and I love it when these people actually being human then give stories that are more inspirational than what they show on screen. At this moment, I'm rereading some of the topics for me to choose which are my faves, but I can't choose any of them because I honestly love them all. But there's this thing that catches my attention, these are the quotes that are written typographically and beautifully.

Icky Weather, Dreamy Discussions With Friends, & Deciding What Major To Take

It has been so rainy these past few days, and it's getting in my nerves. My shoes went all wet today that I even had to dry it out in school. Thank goodness, I brought my umbrella, my uniform didn't get really wet, just my right sleeves. But the good thing is the weather feels so wintery, at least I'm feeling some cold here in this tropical country. I felt a relief when I went up to my classroom.

Since our floor which is 6th floor is having some cracking up with the electricity. Our prof decided to make us move to the library to finish our work. After the class, we decided to stay in the library for a little time and made some chitchats. We talked about what major we're going to get next school year. This is how my course work, 1st and 2nd year are given basic subjects of business and in our 3rd year, we have to choose our major which are the Economics, Financial Management, Operation Management, Marketing Management, and Human Resources. So yes, we're going to be separated into different kinds of majors that we are willing to take. We discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each majors. And we were so dreamy of our future that we acted/pretended to be bossy whilst saying some business dialogues which is ridiculous but fun. We are so excited for what the future brings and we hope with all our heart that we'll all be successful in the future. We shared dreams and places we want to visit like Dubai, United Kingdom, and New York City.

Operation Management is the major I will (might) take next school year. I ask my father first things first on what major I will get, and I told him the available majors. He said that he would like me to take the OM because that's something that he knows well and thought would suit me. This major covers all operations within the organization and related activities including managing purchases, inventory control, quality control, storage, logistics and evaluations. And this is something that might give help to my father's business in Davao. Yes boys and girls, my beautiful father finally engage to business. May this new challenge of him bless by the Almighty God.
