Our Parents are Blessings

"Our parents are blessings, don't delay showing them love.
We don't know how long we have this blessing for."
-Dr. Bilal Philips

Recently I've been so positive since I went to Davao, and I spent a wonderful time with Mama and Papa. I realized that they have been giving me so much love unconditionally. I admit, I used to not bother about these kind of stuff, firstly because I'm not a showy person and I avoid drama. But this isn't actually drama, this is pure love that I will forever be grateful with. I am way too far from becoming a good daughter. I disappointed them SEVERAL times, besides I've made a huge mistake that I will never forget but never regret, basically because I've learned from it and it made me realized that as much as I messed up, it is as much as they stood by me, forgave me, and made me thankful because it happened. Without that experience, I won't be the person I am now, a person who think positive even though life is a mess.

It's sometimes sad that I've realized their unconditional love and sacrifices when I'm already 16 years old, it should be earlier. But God has reasons, at least though I've already realized and understood every thing, Thank God. As long as I live in this world, I will continue to serve them and show them love the best I could. It's my turn to give them love they deserve and be a good daughter, a better daughter. Their smile in the photo above won't fade because of me. I'll make you proud, Mama and Papa.

Please whoever is reading this, and you still have parents. Please do show them love, they may be annoying and push you to your limits. Trust me, as it might sound cliché, it's what's best for you. They want what's best for you because they love you. Yes, our generation is different from theirs, but the thing is they still know what's best for us. No matter how far our gaps compare to them, they have been on this journey as well, and they do understand. Although sometimes we're a bit of annoyed because they keep on comparing their generation to us, but I have realize that it's right. Our generation is a complete messed up craps, and their generation was much better. It's good to look back at their generation because honestly they've got better journey of childhood and adulthood. They just want us to be a better version of ourselves, avoiding the ugly things our generation has and looking at the brighter things. We will not be a better person in our generation if we let our generation or society eat us. We can be better as long as our parents are beside us, to guide us. No one can tear us down as long as we believe that no matter what happen, our parents know the best for us.

I am just so thankful that I have my parents beside me, although Papa works abroad, I still believe that no matter what, we still remain in one piece. No words can actually explain my feelings right now. Satisfaction, contentment, happiness, practicality, and feeling blessed every single second of every day. I just feel so blessed that hate doesn't come my way anymore. I know there will always be bad times, but the most important thing is my parents or my family is here beside me. That's the most precious gift God could give me, and I'm eternally grateful. Besides it was just a bad day or week, not a bad life.

Thank you for everything Mama and Papa. I love you both so much.

Lots of Crazy Stuff While Babysitting Peepot

 (Left to right)
I was trying to make her sleep in my arms; but obviously she's hyper and even climb over the sofa; and we pretended that we were asleep just for a photo lol; she's mad because I kept on kissing her because basically I can't control it.
 (Left to right)
So I decided to let her drink her milk and still couldn't control myself so I bit her toe; so she tried to kick me.. in the face; after she finished her milk, she was posing while saying "buloo buloo"; and said "ahh" then I joined her coz that's how we baby sit, we do stupid things haha.
 (Left to right)
She was just trying to be cute; and she never fail, look how cute she is?; she was whispering something to me and I was like "reallyyy? ooohh" coz that's how I talk with kids; and pretended that I understood what she said.
(Left to right)
She punched me on my forehead; and laughed her ass out coz she's evil like that; revenge part, I tried to drag her up and she actually liked it; and wanted me to do it again.

The struggle is real though. I was so sleepy during that time, but I couldn't sleep because she's going to cry, either way I still couldn't sleep. So I just played around with her because basically when kids are happy, I am happy. No kidding, that's how I love kids, no matter how annoying or pain in the ass they get. I still love them, no matter what. Nur Shaifa a.k.a Peepot is a very sweet little girl. She's talkative like she say whatever we want her to say, and she improved a lot since she got here in our house. She talks more now and she actually eat real food now (not just drinking milk). She knows everyone inside the house. She calls me "Bada", coz she can't pronounce my name. She loves KathNiel and JaDine (she loves JaDine more, especially James Reid's Natataranata na and Huwag ka nang humirit hit songs). She's soooooooooooo cute that even when she cries out loud, it doesn't bother me anymore.

Uncontrollable Food Trip, Farewell To My Two Nieces & Grocery Shopping

Mader, out of nowhere, wants to go to town to eat. We were surprised though but why would we say no right? So we "suit up" right away and headed to town. We went to Mindpro Mall for food trip, and it was indeed uncontrollable because Mama was like "Fahda buy this and that". I bought icecream in a cup to beat the heat and ice cream is the definition of summer. We should grab an ice cream during summer vacation, it's a must. After few minutes, Mama wants to go to Paseo which is a bad idea since it was still 3PM and the sun is out and shining brightly, so instead we went to the new branch of McDonalds in town. Plus, it was just in the front of my school, guess who's gonna go to McDonalds every break time? Haha. So we just ordered sundae for each of us, and two bff fries. It's always the go-to-order and it was magnificent and yummmyyyyy. It is true that McDonalds has the best fries in the world.

Then, we went to the house of Aunt Rose to leave the two ladies there which was only near the town. We left them there because they were gonna catch the first trip to their hometown for school since they study there. After that, we went back to town to shop some grocery necessities. And grab some dinner because it was already twilight then we went back home. It was such a nice and craving satisfied day. Thanks Mom!
PS: Hello Ma! If you're reading this. Haha.

Stargazing With Three Little Ladies

First of all, I currently live in Zamboanga City which is a small city here in the Philippines and brown out is quite on trend right now, I guess because we are already on a vacation season and Zamcelco thought everyone is enjoying their vacay out of the town. But no Zamcelco, you're wrong. Lol no jk, they said it was because we are only given a limited megawatts which they are trying to earn for the season of school, so therefore the schools here in Zambo won't be having brown outs during the whole school year. But the thing is, during our stargazing, Zamcelco temporarily cut off our electricity. So we decided to go out for stargazing to cheer ourselves up from the mess of brown out. After all, it was worth it, since stars are so unbelievably beautiful (almost choked while writing the previous statement because I just love stars so much). Chilly night and staring at the sky full of sparkling stars would be the most relaxing thing I'd always wanted to do. And always will. It was so fun since there are kids and we were just laying down on an enormous carton sharing stories and capturing photos. Plus the very naughty Peepot (the youngest girl).

This is a moment that I don't want to forget. It's just so wonderful to let go of so I've decided to blog it for documentation. Go stargazing with anyone, it would be the best feeling ever, trust me. But just a friendly advice, do it with someone/people you love. It would mean everything to you, as it meant everything to me. I hope though someday, we'll do this as a complete family. We just have to appreciate small moments.

Nonswimmer In A Pool & Kiddos In The Playground

Mama and Papa arrived here in Zamboanga last May 7, and Papa decided that it'll be fun if we go on a picnic because he'll be here in Zambo for 3 days. And he would like to enjoy his stay in. Who are we to say no, right? So we went to Lutong Pinoy, a private resort which has an enormous pool that we can enjoy by renting a cottage. It also has hotel which tourist can check in, and enjoy the pool as well. There were two pools, for children that was 3ft from the ground and for adults, 5ft from the ground. You might wonder why 5ft? It's kinda short aye. It was because for the safety of everyone so no one will eventually drown. It was a good idea, gotta have to admit.
We actually got to the pool to swim around 10am, you won't gonna believe this, but no one was there, so it was our opportunity to enjoy the pool just for ourselves. With all honesty, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SWIM, my sister Fhar and Amina quite know how since they were practicing during that time, and I can't because basically I'm terrified and I don't know how to float haha so. So we went out of the pool to eat lunch around 12-1PM. There were so many foods (Alhamdulillah), and I only fancy spaghetti. I didn't ate properly during that time, because I've been losing my appetite, don't ask coz I also do not know why.
After that, we rinse off in the shower room, and rest for a while. Then we decided to go to the playground which has seesaw and swings and beautiful view. And there was also a zip line ride but unfortunately no one was guarding it. I really do wanna try zip lining some day. I think it's terrifying but so much fun. In the future, hopefully.
Then we went home and felt so so tired, plus we got tanned. Which was ugly but at some point, I did like it. But most of the time, I don't like it, so I did everything to get my complexion back, and I think I already did. After all, it was such a fun day with the family, having so much laugh and foods and smiles. How overwhelmingly blessed am I to have a big family. I've never been better and positive my entire life. I really do appreciate their presences. Thank God.
